DESCRIPTION
KKS® MORTATOP 382 is a one component, cementitious – modified polymer mortar that contains silica fumes and corrosion inhibitors and special additives.

USE
KKS® MORTATOP 382 has the ability to protect reinforcement against corrosion in concrete. Used as a bonding layer to improve the adhesion of concrete repair mortar in the KKS® MORTATOP system, including:
KKS® MORTATOP 381 – High performance modified polymer repair mortar.
KKS® MORTATOP 382 – Bonding slurry and reinforcement corrosion protection.
KKS® MORTATOP 383 – High build modified polymer repair mortar.
KKS® MORTATOP FG – Cosmetic and repair mortar for concrete/mortar surfaces.
APPLICATION
SURFACE PREPARATION
For concrete
Concrete or mortar surface must be, clean and free of oil, grease and other maintenance coat preventing the adhesion. For large areas, use sandblasting or high pressure spray or chisel. For smaller areas, use needle gunning or jack-hammering will effective. Mortar and concrete surfaces must have a minimum compressive strength of 20MPa. 
For steel reinforcement
Steel reinforcement surfaces must be clean from rust, oil, grease or any other loosely adhering particles to provide a rust free surface.
MIXING
KKS® MORTATOP 382 must be mixed in a clean container with a low speed electric mixer (500 rpm). For small repairs, the KKS® MORTATOP 382 will be hand-mixed to ensure the subsequent repair mortar on the layer is still wet thus minimizing shrinkage. Pour enough fresh water into a small cleaned container, and mix until uniform consistency such as slurry. If the mixture becomes dense due to stagnant construction, it is recommended not to use it.
APPLICATION
Bonding agent purpose:
Apply by brush, roller or appropriate spray to wetted substrate. To achieve perfect adhesion, KKS® MORTATOP 382 must be covered onto the substrate surface, filled with uneven surfaces. Subsequent repair mortar should be applied on the connecting layer when it’s wet. 
Steel reinforcement protection purpose:
Use a slightly hardened brush, roller or spray device to apply the first coating about 1mm thick on the cleaned reinforced steel surface. Apply the second layer at identical thickness as soon as the first layer is hardened enough to receive following layer application (waiting time is min. 4 hours at 27 °C). Following repair mortars can be applied after a similar waiting time. 
CLEANNING OF TOOLS 
Remove non-hardened KKS® MORTATOP 382 products from tools and equipment with water. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.

25kg bag with multiple layers and protected with PE layer inside.
STORAGE/ SHELF LIFE
KKS® MORTATOP 382 has to be in dry, cool, shaded place. If stored properly in original unopened packaging, its shelf life is 9 months.
SAFETY INFORMATION
KKS® MORTATOP 382 contains cement that is alkaline, will irritate the skin, eyes and cause irritation to the skin. Gloves, mask, goggles should always be worn. When splashed in the eyes or on skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary. Product is non-toxic, non-flammable and non-hazardous in transportation.
