DESCRIPTION
KKS® MORTATOP FG is a repair and cosmetic mortar. One component of cementitious – modified polymer that contains silica fumes.

USE
KKS® MORTATOP FG is cosmetic designed for the finishing surface of concrete, mortar, stone. It’s used as repair mortar for minor surface defects due to demolding, pores or honeycombs on precast, column, beam concretes, and other concrete/mortar surfaces.
APPLICATION
SURFACE PREPARATION
Make sure all dirt, grease, impurities are removed. Absorbent surfaces have to be thoroughly saturated with water, and no standing water prior application.
MIXING
KKS® MORTATOP FG must be mixed in a clean container with a low speed electric mixer (500 rpm). Pour water into the powder as per mixing ratio, mix for 3-5 minutes with the mixer until achieving uniform consistency, no lumps and this mixture can be used for application.
APPLICATIION
KKS® MORTATOP FG can be applied by spatula or trowel. Work the mixed mortar well into the substrate. Force material against the edge of the repair, working towards the center.
CURING
To ensure the full effect of the cementitious material, it is important to protect the mortar from drying out rapidly due to temperature and wind. Use wet sacks, PE film or curing compound of KKS® CURING 810.
CLEANNING OF TOOLS
Clean up the KKS® MORTATOP FG when it has not yet been hardened from the equipment and tools with water. Once the product has hardened, it can only be cleaned mechanically.

STORAGE/ SHELF LIFE
KKS® MORTATOP FG has to be in dry, cool, shaded place. If stored properly in original unopened packaging, its shelf life is 9 months.
SAFETY INFORMATION
KKS® MORTATOP FG contains cement that is alkaline, will irritate the skin, eyes and cause irritation to the skin. Gloves, mask, goggles should always be worn. When splashed in the eyes or on skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary. Product is non-toxic, non-flammable and non-hazardous in transportation.
