DESCRIPTION

KKS® ULTRAPOLISH LP is a liquid chemical containing Lithium Silicate molecules to create a perfect coating and contribute to strengthening the surface of concrete.

KKS® ULTRAPOLISH LP is water based, non-toxic, non-hazardous and VOC compliant in all areas of the world.

APLICATION PROCESS

Surface Preparation:

All dust, dirt, loose and friable material must be completely removed from all surfaces before application of the product, preferably by brush and/or vacuum.

Consumption/Dosage

Approximately 40 - 60 m²/Liter

This figure can vary depending on the temperature and porosity of the concrete.

APPLICATION

Lightly stir before each use. Do not over mix or bubbles and/or foaming can occur making uniform application more difficult.

Use a pump up sprayer or HVLP sprayer, and spray lightly over the top of the area to be treated. Then spread material thinly and evenly using a micro fiber pad. The micro fiber pad or cloth should be dampened with water before application.

Spread at a rate of 40 - 60 m²/liter depending on porosity of the surface. Do not work the material into the surface, spread it out and leave it. Allow each application to dry at least 15 to 30 minutes between coats. The second application will improve sheen and stain protection.

Buffing with a high-speed burnished (1500-2100 rpm) and a heat pad is recommended and will speed up curing time and improve sheen.

Texture and absorption of the surface will determine the final coverage rates of the product. Porous concrete surfaces may require an additional coat for effective cover.

NOTES

The surface is walkable within 30 minutes of application, however do not allow heavy traffic on the floor and avoid contact with water until 24h after application.

Do not cover the floor with plastic within the first 12 hours after application.

Maintenance

If the floor is cleaned well KKS® ULTRAPOLISH LP will last for many years. Occasional re- application may be needed after 2 or more years depending on the usage of the floor.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.
