DESCRIPTION
KKS® BITUMEM is one component waterproofing emulsion liquid membrane. It complies with ASTM D1227 standard.

APPLICATION
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface should be clean, dense and free of water and should not be contaminated with lubricants, curing compounds and dust.
PRIMER
Add 20 - 50% of water to KKS® BITUMEM and mix well. Use a brush or spray on the surface. Allow the primer to dry completely before applying the next coat.
In case of porous surface and high permeability, it must be wetted before apply. Avoid standing water.
APPLICATION
Apply KKS® BITUMEM on clean primer layer by brush or spray. When spraying on the surface of the underground wall, make sure the surface is covered completely with an even and thick layer that has no needle holes. For better result, should apply 2-3 layers. Make sure to wait for the surface to dry before applying the next coat.
CLEANNING OF TOOLS
Rinse the tool with cold water when the product is not yet hardened or use kerosene or solvent when the product is already hardened.
NOTICE / LIMITATION
KKS® BITUMEM is not resistant to ultraviolet rays in long periods of time, so exposed surfaces (such as flat roofs) must be protected (reflective paint or protective mortar).
• Not to be used as a traffic bearing surface.
• Do not dilute with solvent.
• When unpacking the product should be used up.

STORAGE/ SHELF LIFE
KKS® BITUMEM has to be stored in dry, cool, shaded place. If stored properly in unopened, original packaging, the shelf life is 12 months.

KKS® BITUMEM may cause allergy, and should not be in direct contact with skin. When splashed in the eyes or on skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary.
