GROUTING
DESCRIPTION
KKS® GROUT 40 is a ready-mixed grout, just add water to create a unity mixture with excellent flow, shrinkage compensated, self levelling. The compressive strength development speed of this product is quite fast, the extending working time is suitable for large application areas.
ADVANTAGE
• Shrinkage compensated system.
• Excellent flow-ability for both filling and pressure pumping.
• Compressive strength, bending strength and adhesion is high.
• Minimizes separation.
• Premixed to control construction quality and stability.
• Non-toxic, non-corrosive.
• Non-metallic.
• Does not contain chloride and nitrate.
USE
• Concrete repair.
• To fill cavities, gaps and recesses.
• Tubes, floor penetrated holes, walls.
• Machine and structure base plants.
• Anchor bolts, pillows, mechanical equipment, metal trusses.
• Sealing pads, connecting rod.
• Columns in precast construction
• Stress-resistant concrete pipelines
• Pressure pump or pour grout into the gap between the concrete and precast concrete.
APPLICATION
SUBSTRATES PREPARE
Surface must be clean, free from oil, grease and other contaminants. Moisten with water but do not leave the water remains on the surface before application KKS® GROUT 40.
For floor or concrete repair in large areas, suitable adhesives should be used, such as KKS® LATEX 310, 315.
MIXING
Mix with proportion of water/powder is 15% (about 3.75 liters per 25 kg bag).
To achieve the desired results, use a mortar mixer. Do not mix it by hand.
Pour 80% of water into the mixing tank, add the flour slowly and mix at least 3-4 minutes until the mixture becomes plasticizer, add the remaining water and mix to reach the required flow.
Pour mortar after mixing to release the air bubbles that created during the mixture.
APPLICATION
Construction of grout must be rapid and continuous from one side, without interruption to avoid bubbles trapped in grout. Ensure formwork is firmly placed and watertight, pour the grout to fill and full. Do not use the machine, just use the iron rod or wood to compact. For KKS® GROUT 40 to achieve optimum expansion result, apply mortar as quickly as possible, preferable within 15 minutes after mixing.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
Clean with water as soon as the equipment is no longer used.
CURING
Protect by covering as much as possible the mortar’s surface to avoid the premature of drying out, the regular curing methods also help, such as: moisturizing with water, covered with wet burlap, other equivalent measures, or using KKS® CURING 810 as curing agent.
